BAS & GST

A Business Activity Statement (BAS) must be completed and submitted to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) every Quarter or if by arrangement these can be produced monthly.

BAS will include GST, PAYG Withholdings. BAS Statements may also need to include Tax Instalments and Fringe Benefit Taxes.

If a Business has a turnover of $75,000 or more then that Business must register for GST.

➢ Always obtain Tax Invoices on Business Purchases
